Pee-Yew!

Today I finally got to play with my liver of sulfa. Pee-Yew! I knew it smelt like rotten eggs, but there is always that little something inside me that has to smell it to make sure. Glad I took the warnings of oxidizing my jewelry outside.

This first piece is a bracelet I created using faceted labrodite and fresh water pearls.

Then I did an earring and bracelet set with citrine and freshwater pearls.

The bracelet I added these cool ceramic beads and Swarvoski crystals. I like the links I made for added flair. I am still debating if I should keep this set for myself or not. SOLD

This next bracelet is just a very simply labrodite and pearl. Can you believe I had three lamps and a photo tent when photographing these. Yikes! :( SOLD

That's really pretty! I'm so not that talented in my jewelry making.

I hope I was ok bathing the dogs and then putting on the flea meds. They were so dirty, they really needed it. I use Frontline and I didn't use flea shampoo.

Hi there! This is Kerilou. I am responding to your request about my son's blue hair! Let me first say that I love your blog and all of your jewelry projects are amazing and gorgeous!! Love them!!
If your daughter's hair is already black, depending on how long it has been since it was dyed, you may want to re dye the black to refresh it. Where she wants it to be purple underneath, leave that part undyed. If the black in her hair is still fresh, seperate what you want to be purple from the rest, and hook the rest in a clip to keep it out of the way.
You have to brush on the bleach with a color brush, and let it sit to bleach up. I used some powder and clear developer to bleach it up, that is what I had here. You can buy a box of blond hair bleach in the drugstore, though. I had to bleach my son's up twice to get it light enough, which you would probably have to do, too. If you get a box of hair "color" to bleach it blond, it would still be enough to do it twice most likely, cause you are only doing a small amount of hair in the back. You need to bleach it up light blond/white to get the color to look vibrant. Once the hair is bleached and rinsed, (make sure you keep the clip in the black) you add the color. I used Beyond the Zone Huckleberry Blue from Sally Beauty Supply. They have all kids of funky colors, including pinks and purples. It comes in a squeeze bottle. You just apply it and let it set. I did my son's blue in two applications, to make sure it was super vibrant. You then just rinse the color out and you are good to go! I have probably forgotten something, feel free to email me if you need to,

Hope I helped! Kerilou
